After finishing my undergraduate degree in Korea, I moved to France in 2018 for language studies and a Master’s program. Today, I’m living and working in France as a full-time professional.
This blog, OuiMakeCents, was created to share practical, easy-to-digest tips about life in France—covering topics like personal finance, everyday money management, and navigating local bureaucracy.
Why did I start this blog?
While there are many online communities related to France, I found that realistic advice on money-saving strategies, investing, and personal finance tailored to life in France is still lacking—especially for foreigners.
So I decided to gather and share what I’ve learned through my own trial, error, and research—from budgeting and banking, to investment strategies, to surviving paperwork in France.
